A number of changes have been made to football law during the 135th Annual Meeting of the International Football Association (IFA), which concluded today. Since the advent of the so-called 'Video Assistant Referee' technology called VAR, many criticisms have been leveled against the arbitrator's decision. Decisions such as off-side, penalty, and handball in particular became the subject of constant debate.

Fulham equalized 1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur last Wednesday. But the goal was rejected because he missed the ball in the team's Lemina's hand just before he scored, and Lemina argued to the referee that the ball had landed on his hand without him knowing, but Fulham were not given the goal.

Following this, the IFAP Has announced several changes to the Handball Act. The IFPA said in a statement that the ball would not be fouled if it was unknowingly in the player's hand and would not be fouled if it fell into someone's hands while the body was attached.

They also said that a law would soon be enacted in collaboration with medical teams on the newly introduced concussive substitution in the UK Premier League.

They also said that another decision on off-site would be made soon and the decision would be announced soon. It has also been announced that the changes that are currently being brought in and will be brought in will take effect from the 1st of July.
